Legacynth is a reimplementation of Apple’s Sound Driver API for PowerPC Macs and AV Macs running classic Mac OS.

The initial release implemented the Sound Driver’s free-form (i.e. sampled sound) synthesizer.

Version 1.5 adds the square-wave synthesizer.

Games that are missing sampled sounds because Apple’s .Sound driver no longer plays them will get them back with Legacynth.
