Legacynth is a reimplementation of Apple’s Sound Driver API for PowerPC Macs and AV Macs running classic Mac OS.

The initial release, Legacynth Demo, implemented the Sound Driver’s free-form (i.e. sampled sound) synthesizer.

Legacynth Mini (version 1.5) added the square-wave synthesizer.

Legacynth 4000 (version 2.0) adds the four-tone synthesizer.

Games that are missing sounds because Apple’s .Sound driver no longer plays them will get them back with Legacynth.
